What has Drew been up to lately?

He thinks he was put on this Earth to protect his brother...actually, I think he thinks MR was on this Earth so he would have someone to protect, play with, mess with - last weekend Andy picked up MR off the floor...Andy said his torso felt weird...MR had cars stuffed into his onesie- lots of cars! He does the usual good brother deeds though (take small objects out of his mouth, keeps him from pulling the TV tray onto his head, sharing his bread and green beans - most of his green beans!) But he's also found a way to "over-do" the big brother duty! Last night MR was just standing in the door way and couldn't get the courage to just crawl outside. Drew kept yelling for him. Eventually Drew got him outside but as MR was trying to get back inside Drew knocked him onto his face. He was only trying to pull up his pants, Drew explained. So I took Drew to discuss how much I appreciate his helping with MR but that he has to start letting MR be more independent...to which Drew says, "but he does so many bad things!"

How do our children know how to automatically become smart a**es??

I was trying to get a piece of dry skin or something underneath my son's nose and he kept moving and shaking his head, "no." I tried one more time to get it without royally ticking him off...he had the nerve to stick out that little pointer finger and try to stick it right up my nose?!?!
Did I mention this was MR? A smart ass at 9 months old!
I learned my lesson as I now agree that it is not fun to have somone else's finger up my nose.

Let the story speak for itself...

Brazie walks to find Drew's shoes and notices some pretty strands of hair laying on the kitchen floor.
Brazie: Drew, why is there hair on the floor - did you cut your hair?
Drew: huh?
Brazie sees that Drew's hair looks perfectly normal.
Brazie: Drew, who's hair is in there on the floor?!
Drew: MR's
Brazie: What?!!!!????? Andy, bring MR in here.
MR looks as innocent as he always does and his hair looks normal. He's so trusting of his big brother. I'm sure if he could talk he would plainly state that Drew told him he cut hair all of the time and everything is normal.
Brazie: Drew, where did you cut your brother's hair?
Drew: At the top.
We notice some of MR's tornado swirl at the top is now a spike. It's not really noticeable unless you look closely, but MR no longer as a "flopping Alfalfa."
Brazie: In what world did you think it would be a good idea to cut your brother's hair?
Drew: hmmm?
Brazie: Why did you think it would be okay to cut your brother's hair and did you think you could sneak it past us?
Drew: mmm?
Brazie: Why did you cut your brother's hair?
Drew: I was being sneaky.
Brazie: Why did you think that would ever be okay?
Drew: (silence)
Brazie: Drew! Why did you cut your brother's hair?
Drew: I wanted to give him a "Mo-Hawk."

Yea #4!

Drew scored 3 goals! On this one he accidentally blocked his teammate's goal before he kicked it in himself! It was definitely unintentional. But he actually did the same thing last week too...oops!

Snack Attack

I brought home dinner the other night and before Drew and I could walk to the fridge to get something to drink, I came back around the corner and found this crazy clown...
