Diving for torpedos!

Here's Drewsky doing some diving at the pool! He dived over and over and over again! He finally just started swimming himself down to the botton of the pool and barely using Andy for help. One time Andy said he actually grabbed both at the same time and and as he was swimming to the top he turned and waved the torpedo in Andy's face like "come and get it!" He was absolutely worn out! I think Andy's glad the pool is closed on Tuesdays!

36 1/2 weeks

Here is today's sono picture of the new baby boy! As you can already tell he has an angel face, BUT ... this little Angel is already 7 lbs. 2 oz. and it's 3 1/2 weeks until the due date!!!! Our Dr. said today that he cannot do anything to "help us along" until 39 weeks-July 4th. So we're basically hoping that he will come early naturally so we don't have to worry about his being so big! I remember reading somewhere that he could gain 1-2 oz. a week at the very end. Hopefully we'll stay on the smaller side.

We go back next week to see if we can come up with a plan on how to have this baby in the next week or two!
I don't have a picture of our full time Dr., but I thought I woud include this picture of our stay-at-home Dr.

PS The strange look on my face is the result of a very awkward Argentine Tango on So You Think You Can Dance.

Slip N Slide

Andon and Isabella needed a break from the hospital so we brought them back to Austin with us for a night of fun. We went slip n slidin, rented a movie, and made rice krispies! Here's a video of the kids running lap after lap after lap!

Drew, the Builder!

Andy's been working more on the deck and he had a hard working assistant this evening.

Baby brother and big brother!

I had my 35 week appointment today and everything is still on schedule. I'm having lots of the Braxton Hicks contractions so the Dr. said that should mean that I definitely won't go over the due date. But we're really wanting the "word" that says we're ahead of schedule. We'll find out next Wed. on my next appointment. We've been "nesting" all weekend while Drew was on vacation in Kilgore. We got the crib and the baby clothes and big toys cleaned and ready. But we also did a little surprise for Drew. We finally painted his room after a year or so of talking about it. We had to "take away" his official toy room so we thought he deserved a little something special for his room. His exact reaction was "oh-mygosh!"

Speaking of "nesting" we have a cool little story. When we lived at our old apartment we had a lot of hanging baskets on our balcony. Right before Drew was born we found a bird's nest in one of the baskets. We thought it was a cool little coincidence and random. But just a couple of weeks ago Andy happened to find another bird's nest on our gutter at the house! After 2 years, we see for the first time a bird's nest. It's kind of amazing how so much of nature seems to link. The only sad thing is the nest was not in a stable place. The nest fell once and we tried to fix it, but the next day it had fallen again and the eggs were "officially not recoverable." We just hope the mama bird is doing okay.

Our Micheal Phelps

Drew took swimming lessons through his school for two weeks. He acted like he never wanted to go but they told us once he got there he ALWAYS had fun! He received perfect scores on his swimming report card! By the end, there were only two of the 6 kids in his group that wanted to dive off the diving board. Guess who was onc of them! We're proud of him and his accomplishments in swim class. This video may hurt you a bit, but don't worry...it did not bother Drew a bit! This was actually his second dive just like this! Notice that the instructor is trying to tell him to jump in feet first. He doesn't quite listen. I'm not sure if he was showing off for me or if he was just diving in like Micheal Phelps does!

Little Munchkins-Age 4

Drew's end of the year program at school! He's front and center and a little lacking in focus!

Let's here it for the Boys!

We thought this blog would be the best way to keep all of our family and friends in the loop! Drew gets more and more hilarious everyday and RM will be growing pretty quickly-once he's born! We hope you enjoy all of the stories, pictures, and videos to come!
